- Customer Purchases Tickets: A customer buys one or more tickets for a giveaway product for which you have configured Instant Win prizes.
- Prize Awarding: If a purchased ticket matches the winning criteria you defined (e.g., a specific ticket number), the customer instantly wins the associated prize.
Winner Notification & Confirmation
The customer is notified of their instant win through multiple channels, ensuring they never miss their success:
- Order Confirmation / Thank You Page: A prominent message displays on the order confirmation (“Thank You”) page, announcing the win and showing the winning description of the prize they have secured.
- Customer Order Details: The win is recorded against the order. The customer can see the winning description in their “Order Details” when viewing the order from their “My Account” page.
- Automated Email Notification (Optional): If email notifications are enabled for the Instant Winner feature, a customized email is automatically sent to the customer, containing all the details about their prize and the winning description you configured.
